What information do we collect
The Nebula Alarm Clock app does not collect any user data directly. We don't even have a back end yet. Your app data is stored locally on your device and your in-app purchase data is stored by the Google Play Store. The developer of this app cannot access any personal data stored in either of those locations.
This app does, however, use two third party services that may collect personally identifiable information: AdMob advertising and Google Play Services. Information collected by these third party services is inaccessible to us. The collection of personally identifiable information by the third party services in this app is goverened by their respective privacy policies linked below.
This app uses AdMob ads. Google may use the advertising ID from the device on which the ad is serving to generate interests and demographics (for example, 'sports enthusiasts'). Interests, demographics, and other data may be used to serve better targeted ads to the user. Google provides users an option to opt out of personalized advertising and view their interests and demographics.
This app uses Google Play Services. The google play services section can be found here ->
This app requires the camera permission and the read external storage permission. Both of these permissions are considered sensitive permissions and require us to explain why we are using them. The camera is used only for the purpose of scanning barcodes and qrcodes when using the qr code and barcode scan based alarm shut off methods. The read external storage permission is used so that you can locate and use your own audio files with the alarm clock to give you more options when using our app. No personal data is collected in conjunction with either of these sensitive permissions.
Crash and Log Data
The Nebula Alarm Clock app sends anonymous log data to Google Play in the event of a crash. This anonymous data is then used by the developer for the sole purpose of improving the app. This Log Data may include information such as your device's android version, details of what error caused the crash and the rough time and date of the crash.
